For those of you babyloss mamas who are pregnant after loss or contemplating becoming pregnant after loss, take a minute to read this post over at Still Standing.
You are so brave. You have so much love. You deserve the hope, the healing. You deserve the joy.
“Alchemize this pregnancy into a never-before-written love story between you and your precious baby. Say yes to what is beautifully healing, say no to what is not. Make room for gorgeous new memories to bloom alongside the old. Fill this time with as much hope as you can muster, infuse it with anything and everything that makes your grieving heart smile and massages your baby with laughter and joy. Joy is not a betrayal, it’s your birthright, and it’s your baby’s too.”
Good luck, mamas who are trying again, whether you are just trying to muster up the courage right now, or you’re actively finding it every day of a new pregnancy. You are an inspiration to us all.
Beautiful – thank you for sharing xx
This is beautiful and inspiring. I love the careful wording so as not to exclude the memory of the lost child(ren), but encourages co-existence. They share space in your heart and mind. Forever.
Thank you for sharing your story, but also sharing this one. We lost our son 2/8/2015, stillborn at 28.5 weeks. It is very comforting to know that there are others out there. I look forward to following your journey.
